If he is a young kid - is there any chance at all you might have a conversation with his father/parents? I can't comment for every neighbourhood in my own corner of the globe, let alone anyone else's, but such a move would either find an equally dishonest cockroach, or a decent bloke who would make sure his kid faced up to their own responsibilities.

even if you can identify him still be hard getting the $$$. I had a girl hit my boat on the F3, got her details the whole lote even had a witness. Put in claim to insurance and when they confronted her she refused to pay. Lost my excess but not at fault / no claim bonus. I guess thats why you have insurance to cover yourself even if others dont. If you dont have insurance you leave yourself wide open for this stuff. I dont like your chances recovering money outta him. I hope it works out though I hate being ripped by snot nosed idiots who run the gaunlet, but it all catches up with them I guarantee.....

Thank god, I was beginning to think I am crazy. If his car was not so rusty my car would be in better shape.
Notice I have his blue paint on my car and my red paint on his. But he didnt hit my car. Then he has the audacity to park behind my car the next day.
