got a mechanic to sus it out
and he reckons a counter gear has busted a tooth
and recomends buying a new box instead of repairing this 1

Hopefully this sound is from an external source of your tranmission. While you are there, make a good inspection of your drive shaft,especially if the sound appears to come under initial load (i.e. first gear) .

i will give the mount a check
ithiink thats wat it is wen i busted my engine mouts i check it and it looked pretty brittle

Or a chipped tooth,i've done it before,after you check the mount,drain the gear oil,if there is any metal floating around it will be stuck to the magnetic drain plug and all will be revealed.

Could be the mount. Place jack under transmission, remove mount and inspect it.

aight
in 1st there is a clucking/ticking noise
2nd its not as loud
3rd,4th cant hear it
any ideas what is wrong
i reckon the rubber in the mount is busted
plz help!!!
