One side of the bulb/lamp is 12 volt positive. The other side has the wire going to the engine which is earth. The senson on the engine increases in resistance as it gets hot which completes the connection to earth and turns the lamp on.

Hi Guys

How Oil Pressure bulb at dash board would be enabled , what are connection to oil sensor it it Ground earth or voltage(means do i need to supply electric to sensor or only to dash board light) ?
