why - what has changed???

EDIT = I just got off the phone with the people at NewGel - who bought the various moulds from Canberra Car Styling. They have to go through the various moulds and double check what they retained (they did get rid of a few, since they were unlikely to ever sell, but they commented that they've had a fair bit of commerce with other various older datto items (1600 stuff etc). So I'll get a word back sometime during next week (allowing for holidays etc).

They said they could do them (if they retained the moulds) for $165 for the front air dam. I also brought up the option of buying the mould if they weren't viable to produce (which is of course a last resort just to ensure the moulds aren't destroyed/thrown out - if they keep making them, there's no point in acquiring the moulds of course) and they were open to that possibility too.

I've emailed alfa motorsports some time back.

They offer 2 types of wheel arch flares - medium/mild ones, and the full on sports sedans ones (featured in picture)

To the best of my knowledge (they also do front guards and bonnet) they only do one front spoiler. Good for racing, and ideal for putting ducts to route air to the brakes (and still allow adequate cooling) - Whether or not they 'look' as good is of course a matter of personal taste, it seems that their front spoiler has much less ground clearance (which is good for downforce/ground effect) and might end up in some strife with relentless suburban speed humps!

The two pics shown here are from alfa motorsports (amongst a few others they sent in response to a query a few months ago) - if they object to them being posted here, I'll delete them immediately (though I suspect if anything it might actually result in an order or two now that people can see some of their range)

I sent an enquiry (online) to the place that bought the moulds etc from the place listed in that other thread when tehy closed down. That was a couple of weeks ago, I'm yet to hear back from them - anyone else have an update as to whether they'll do another run of them?

If not, out of curiousity, how many people here would want one? Maybe we could buy the moulds and get some other place to do them (if we get enough orders to make it worth their while) at cost or something??
