Hey dude 160kW is ok.. don't lose hope just yet.

I am still in the same boat. My CA has all the goodies in the top and bottom ends. Running forged bits, 270/9.25, solid lifters, autronic smc/cdi, Garrett gt28/76R (0.63 ex), and mine topped out at 188kW. We didn't do much in the way of dialing in the cams before I lost interest 2 or more years ago. I'm not wasting anymore time on it for now. I since swapped out the bigger turbo for a 2nd-hand HKS 25/30, and it's more fun to drive, but still not as frightening as a bone stock 5.7L Calais. I'll get back to optimising the Datto during my long service leave next year. Which will be in time for the Sydney 2011 Datsun Nationals.

I think the tuner has a lot to do with things.

ps. also keep in mind that a bone stock CA18det will pull between 85 and 95kW at the rear wheels on a dyno, so almost 100% increase in output is not to be sneezed at.

thought it was a bit much for a standard ca18det , what power are u looking at in the future and how much boost to achieve this cause with that setup u should be able to crank some big boost and get big kw numbers.i want to do a similar setup in my ute i want to achieve around 200kw at the wheels when finished, gl with ur datto sounds tough keen to see pics.
