I will most likely bend up some sheet. I have not had much experiance with this sort of stuff and I thought that getting another section would be the easiest way.
What thickness sheet would you recommend?

Could you fold a bit of flat sheet up?

Generally for areas like that the rubber seal moulds into whatever it is pressed against so you wouldn't neccessarily need that 'precise' a profile.

Fixing some rust in the boot of my 1k coupe. I need a section of gutter where the boot rubber sits in under the back screen. If anybody has a shell in sydney thats not much good for anything else I would love to come and cut a bit out.
Maybe 1000 sedan or 1200 would be the same? I could use anything
