you could be right nick the old coupe was pretty rough some one may have swap it I didnt take any notice when I took it off It just stands out more because my car is a lot straighter

later utes had different bumper mounts, they had a wider bolt spacing...that could be your problem maybe

yea the car did have a good wack in the front but every thing lines up exept the bumper brackets. The holes are 50mm out. If i bolt the bumper on it sticks out about 50mm. I might just re drill the brackets and put the bumper over my knee and bend it in the middle that will fix it or f@#k it.

I bought a new ute one from nissan for $260 because i thought mine looked like what yours done turns out it had been straightened and not done properley wasnt obvious from a distance though.
could be that or if your front end has ever had a nick may have given it bit of a warp?

Have seen sedans with coupe bumpers and vise versa without any real difference in alignment. Didn't your car have a wack ? Therefore things may still be a little out of kilter. How would you go elongating the holes on the bumper bar brackets that mount above the chassis rail allowing you to move the bar in a few mm. We call it pinchin a bit here and there.

The coupe and sedan ones were a different part number for the first year.
Being old, it's possibly been straightened, and not done to original spec.

I would have recommended shelling out the $200-300 new Ute ones from Nissan.

The front bumper I have is of a coupe but it fits like sh@#t it looks to wide out from the guards. The bumper looks bent in the pic but it isn't Where the brackets bolt on to the sub frame the holes are a mile back from where the bolts are . I have got the bumper pushed back to line up with the mud guard holes .Can any one give me any info on it please.
