Of course I used them. They are close enough to the ca18 and r30 gearbox mount points, and would work ok even if they were the only bodyside mounts on regular power installs.

So you saying you used the existing mounts ?

I kept my gearbox mounts so engineer couldnt pick on the mounts.
I also extended the gearbox crossmember to attach to the floorpan also.
Be careful with wide mounts because they will mean you need to hang the exhaust lower to clear.

I wouldnt be so quick to remove the factory mounts.

Have trouble with what ? The mounts hitting or Auto tunnel i have auto tunnel same as you bud.

na no good do away with all together,you have trouble with speedo cable...as you no i got the auto tunnel off you!! much better now

Has anyone managed to find or mod a gearbox cross member to use in 1200 Auto tunnel with the CA18DET 5 speed box (Using existing mounts in tunnel)? Or are Mounts in the way all together ? Cheers In Advance Peoples.
