Of course I used them. They are close enough to the ca18 and r30 gearbox mount points, and would work ok even if they were the only bodyside mounts on regular power installs.

I kept my gearbox mounts so engineer couldnt pick on the mounts.
I also extended the gearbox crossmember to attach to the floorpan also.
Be careful with wide mounts because they will mean you need to hang the exhaust lower to clear.

I wouldnt be so quick to remove the factory mounts.

Has anyone managed to find or mod a gearbox cross member to use in 1200 Auto tunnel with the CA18DET 5 speed box (Using existing mounts in tunnel)? Or are Mounts in the way all together ? Cheers In Advance Peoples.
