Yep, I'm with Shannons as well. Mainly because no one else would touch my 61 Mini, and then all the benefits of being insured by motoring enthusiasts...
Plus I only pay $130 a year (laid up cover only :( ).

I have my "fleet" insured with shannons and have done for quite a few years now, my yearly policy was about $600 for four cars (3rd party fire and theft),
last year I changed the policy on my zed car to (full comp. $12000 agreed val.) for a extra $80.00.

The only problem I find with shannons is having to listen to a scratchy recorded message from glenn ridge every time you need to call them.

I think you might have to put another couple of datsuns on your policy to get a better rate

good luck,

G O T H E D A T !!

If you are young and want to drive a modified car, that is what you have to pay. I once considered buying a SS commodore but the insurance almost outweighed the purchase price, all because I had no insurance rating.

i love shannons, having worked for a insurer previously, they are to expensive and restrictive with thier agreed values.
I have never insured with them even while working for them, oh wait, once in 1999 for 8 months then went to shannons.

i think they are hard to beat and offer great fair polices and prices with thier underwriting. good agreed values too. even thinking of putting house with them soon
