guys just one more thing
Can anyone confirm that the 60 series box will use the auto tunnel mounts, or even the auto crossmember in its original mounting posistion,, (120y)

Tech wiki says so
Just would like confirmation

Thanks very much in advance
jason

Thanks for the heads up

Will most clutch specialist places be able to help with this?

Thanks again

you will probably need the correct release bearing carrier for your 60 series 5 speed.
The bearing carrier is a bit longer

60-series 5-speed is same length as 56-series 4 speed. Shifter comes up in same place

Fits into manual tunnel of 1200. All 120Y (B210) have a larger tunnel so no worries.

Manual 120y manual pedal box should still have brake pedal in same position. Got a manual tail shaft for the borg warner here still. Starter motors are all the same except in A14 from early pulsar. 120y clutch cable will be all good got one of them to i think, Unless you get a 5 speed with hydraulic setup.

hi

just have a few questions about installing 5 speeds
now i know these box's do rarely come about and they are expensive

but im sick of driving the auto y

anyway
im led to believe a 60 series 5 speed bolts up to the auto tunnel fine
( apossed to the 56 series where the mounting is forward something like 5 inch )
if this is incorrect please say so

also

is there any variation between an automatic and a manual starter motor
( stall / torque converter VS flywheel )

i also understand im going to need to swap my tailshaft, running a borg warner diff does anyone know if tailshafts for these are readily available?

and a pedal box which will suit my brake booster
does anyone know if a pedal box for manual y to suit this brake booster are hard to come by?
