Well, she took out a golf 6 GTi today from 20kpa till 170ish,, even with a skyline R33 gearbox in the boot (dont ask)

Going to go testing at the track tomorrow to see if the messing about around corners is solved.

Well, the carb master with one last ditch attempt braught me 2 more race prep'd 27's....

Dropped them in, car runs like it never has before, i think i might actualy have a winning combo at long last,,, not even a drop out the trumpets!!!

I'm gald you found the problem was a faulty carb. It shouldnt have taken that much to find it thou. A good mate of mine braught 4 webers & manifold for his 65 289cui mustang. When he got them he found cracks in the housing where the idle screw seats. pretty poor I think you would want them perfect for 4k plus. They have been sent back for a refund
