Will a Factory tachometer signal a voltmeter? It uses an induction loop, where the current varies but it's a constant voltage.

hey maky sure all 3 wires are connecyed at dash and also at coil
u should be able to put a volts meter on th + and - of the tacho and it should spike
or i have a tacho/dwell meter u could plug onto it and it will cheak the wires
