I would definately be keen on 2 of each A15, CA18 & SR20 to suit B110.
Cheers, Shane

As long as it is simply the manufacturers ID plate [not an ADR compliance plate] then the law doesn't give a rats a*s*. The only thing that will be desirable is that the chassis number on the plate matches the one on the body.

If the engine number on the plate matches the engine in the car, then all the better but if an original car has had a standard [or otherwise] engine replacement, then these numbers won't match any more.

In the end, these plates are more for cosmetics these days then much else.

I would really like to get one for a KB10, so if this is possible then I would dearly like to hear from you via e-mail as I do not get on here very often.

Just got back from OS, so getting straight into these.

For engine and chassis numbers, you would need to stamp these yourself which is how they were done at the factory, not a hassle though.

While I'm here, can someone confirm for me that a 1200 ute model number is b120?

cheers

Thanks for the replies. As stated these aren't a compliance plate so there is no legalities involved.

Unlikely this plate alone would convince an RTA official your car came out with a different motor as they go off documents they have in their system not what you tell them.

Also I didnt sell any on ebay, but I did see the ones mentioned but they weren't an exact replica with size or fonts etc, these ones will be alot better.

Also no probs with getting a standard spec one, they will be catered for as well.

As I said, will probably be a minimum of 6 weeks at least til I have them in my hands, but they are definitely coming.

cheers

thats reminds me of a funny story. A mate of my old mans was telling me a cop who thought he was very knowledgable wanted to check the engine number on a holden that he'd pulled over. He got the owner to open the bonnet, and wrote down the number off the engine. Funny thing is, (And those of you who know holden motors will be familair with where this is located on holden motors) he wrote down the firing order!
