so why did you want to keep the stock front track? your other wagon would have had wider front track wouldnt it?

anyways, if your buying all new stuff $1500 can be used up pretty quick but you should end up with something fairly decent

i think 250-300 would probably be alright in a street 1200 with a CA, im wanting to get some 275 lb springs to try in mine as the ones ive got are way to stiff...no idea onthe rate though up would guess high 300 mark

what wll the car be used for? what size wheels do you want to run? how much money do you want to spend?

only thing that wont increase the front track at all is using disc or drum 1200 struts with drum hubs and a disc over the top of them, meaning that you will have to run larger diameter rims to fit the brakes than if it was the disc bolting to the back of the hub

or you thread the holes in a set of disc hubs so that you can bolt the disc on from behind, then you can run larger brakes in smaller wheels than with the floating disc setup

s13 brakes using disc hubs and a floating disc gives you about 10mm less track increase than stanza and the like....which is #OOPS# all difference really

why would you need to keep the standard track?

i run 200b struts and r33 brakes, ive found that the front by them self pulls up better than pretty much anything else ive been in. also found out that its a bit of work to get them to fit inside 15s and then they will only fit in certain 15s so getting wheels for the car is alot harder

hey people

i have a datsun 1200 with a ca18det project. and was wondering what the best set up is for brakes and shocks, there are many different combos. What do people use and what have the found out, and what they could improve on. what will use the standard track
