but at the same time its so much crap!
who sets the speed limits anyway???
Hmmm maybe just make em just slow enough that people speed like 90% of the time, take covert piccies of em doing it and make $150 bucks a pop...

I thought they had to put up signs too, but in the ACT they only put up signs for stationary (permanent) ones not the roadside vans. Thats all we have here. How long has that R2D2 @#nt been around?

and there's supposed to be rules about no hiding the cameras,
yet they are always in the bushes, the sign is always in the bushes or turned sideways, and 90% of the time on lush straight multi lane highways,
it's not revenue raising though....
if you don't speed you don't pay revenue....

This is such a great example of the kind of "padded" cell society we live in these days, no non govt sanctioned fireworks anywhere... ever... (Yes I'm from Canberra) a parliament w 2 major parties that have to pander to the minority parties to get anything done
Man are we ruled by the minority or what?!

EDIT: Just noticed that the camera is obscuring some paid advertising on council property, Double dipping anyone?...

If not, they would never work here in NZ. Someone would paint over the lenses, set it on fire, drag it behind their car, throw it into a river/sea, and that would be if it was lucky!

does that look like a car battery there next to it. i would just take that. and then thing doesnt work, looks like a home made job anyway, or spray over the glass pannels. or just take the whole thing!!!!!!!
