This will be a very interesting build using the better A series engine over
the one the factory su turbo setup it was designed for.
Very neat and clean install keep it up.

Here is the little adaptor I made up to connect the throttle cable to my SU carb -- installed.

Today
-Installed throttle cable
-installed rad
-modified thermostat housing but I screwed up and have to change the orientation of the spout again

Its coming along well

UPDATE---

Yesterday:-
-Finished fabricating all intake piping
-Polished all S/S piping
-Modified and mounted intercooler
-1/2 Mounted Radiator
-Mocked up throttle cable positioning

Tomorrow morning:-
-Fab more mounting brackets for rad
-Modify thermostat housing
-Make extra parts for throttle cable mount
-Fab additional parts for plumbing in rad

Sunday
-Mount electric fan
-Install all parts that I just fabbed up

When I get my carb rebuild kit I will then rebuild carb and then slam the lid because I will be done with the mechanical side of things

Then on to mounting seats and finishing interior.

I hope I can keep up this momentum!

Thanks man,
Yeah Im hoping that it will make a good amount of power.
My carb is pretty greedy on fuel at higher rpms because of the tapered needle so hopefully it will help me get my hp up there.

if i could get 106 to the wheels that would be awesome!

I got 106 hp at the wheels @12psi with a stock A12 turbo setup mine is a round port standard carby manifold modified with injector bosses welded to it and a 65mm throttle body off a toyota camry my intercooler looks the same size as yours i think you should get around the same power with the right carby

if you went lpg you wont need that step for the carb which will increase flow and response. There are so many variables but I think your tercel inlet manifold is excellent. Will be interested to see what figures you get and how close it is to the engine the turbo and carb original where made for.

Yeah I can get lpg no problem

The inlet manifold is actually from a Toyota Tercel.
The runners were really long on it so I cut them down and then welded on my own flanges that I made.. it was also about .75" too wide so I cut it down and re-welded it.

If you look through my album you can see a close up of it.

If I were to do it all over again I would have made it from scratch (brand new elbows etc) but I was strapped for cash and didnt really have a plan for what I was doing, just trying to make it all fit.

Its a practice run really because I have found an A14, 2x 60 series 4 spd, 4x H150's and a whole tonne of other parts... I will build the next engine up to be alot better than this one..

Still... anyone throw out an estimate for power from my A12??

what engine was the inlet manifold plenuim from originally? it looks like you've made it from a donor manifold.
