Small yet unproductive update: <Edit: I should not jump to abusive conclusions>

That said I'll keep plodding along and probly waste some more money getting parts. Those adjustable s13 "drifting" arms look good and I know rally guys go and make thier own ect so they might be making an appearance in the thread

Most rack & pinion reduce lock-to-lock because they don't turn as far!

B310 came with three steering gearboxes:
* B110: 15:1 ratio with 3.3 turns lock to lock
* B310 Australia: 16.4:1 (per Gregory's)
* B310 A12 Canada: Type RB43N 16.4:1 3.5 turns
* B310 USA A14/A15: Type BR45L 15.0:1 3.2 turns

The B310 lock-to-lock is less because they turn in the limit screws, not because it turns faster.

I was going to weigh all this stuff on a friends' set of packing scales ewhen I had a chance. As it stands the assembled S13 setup I have in the pics feels like it's 15kg or thereabouts. Could be majorly wrong though since i haven't been practising logistics in a few years.

Just a quick one, bare strut weight increase over stanza strut??
Obviously its heavier then the 120y strut but given the upgrade path this can take (four spots etc) a guide as to the base unsprung weight increase is what Im concerned with.
I have just bought lighter wheels and don’t want to put the weight back on in the strut.

This guy makes modded S13 knuckles and LCA's (Engineered to Slide), would be an easier way of getting more steering lock than fitting the steering quickner

Would work good but I foresee making up a new shorter steering column to fit it in and possible (imminant) desing rules violations edit: unless that replaces the steering box altogether?

Well so far the list would be like :

- s13 hubs, brakes, rotors
- Your choice of control arms (910,S13,R31,Toyota Crown,ect (need to drill or adapt a bracket for swaybar on some of these arms)
- Caster arms for control arms being used (if s13 you can use r31 or chop off vertical mount and tap thread into bar)
- S13 struts with spring perch cut off and coilover kit welded on (or aftermarket coilvovers)
- 2x 1200\120y left side inner tierod so S13 outer tie rod can adjust as normal (re-tapping the rods to make them fit of course)

Jake77 has a working setup which is where I got my inspiration to start playing with this project from. The purpose of my long winded thread is to explore additional parts that may be cheaper\more common and give different results.
