I paid 2000 for the last KB10 i bought and have stashed away for later. restorers knows the most expensive things are bodywork and rechroming is through the roof. Good chromework alone is 1000$ u dont need to spend. Even though I do bodywork myself i knowm the value of starting with a genuine straight shell that isnt full of bog and 6 layers of paint, in how many weeks less work it will be. Ignore bottomdollar bargainhunters.

yes there is some sarcasm involved in out crazy offers, 2.5k is a bit steep in my mind, having owned many coupes, and seeing what has been for sale recently,
but it is also a good bump for your thread...

What's with the sarcasm? $45 and $50.... This isn't my car, i'm selling it for a friend who now lives in Melbourne. So i'm trying to get a good price/deal for him. Obviously I may not get $2500 for the car but like any car you sell you want to get the best price possible. Unless you're genuinely interested in the car keep your unwanted comments to yourself because I sure don't want to hear them or have them on my post. Thanks Topgear, 1000's are definately under priced for what they are but there's not much that can be done about it. Hi andy-roo, The ute and this coupe are both my mates and he was unsure what to get rid of. He has since changed his mind and wants to keep the ute for sentimental reasons. Which is why now the coupe is for sale. I'll have a chat with tonight and see where he stands with it/price. So if you're genuinely interested in it let me know. Can organise to look at car or take specific pictures for people interstate.

Yeh i had a bit of interest on my old thou wags at $5k and ended up selling it interstate for $4k and the guy was wrapped! That had A15, disks, new paint, Watanabes etc. Nothing too flash but it was tidy.

Old, rare jap cars just arnt worth anything! Looks like a good body tho on the coupe!
