by the way if anyone in brissie wants to give it a go ive got the best part of 2/3rds of a can each of plastic primer and gloss black. good stuff $10 if you want to meet up somewhere it's yours - easily enough for one more. can't see myself using the rest.

wheels are 15x6 chasers off a kia cerato. you can't really see in the pics but offset has been taken in 15mm at the back for a wider (legal) track and a deeper dish. front have only been taken in 3mm to keep it legal and clear the strut. 195/50 tyres rear, 175/55 front.

they were already black i just polished them with kitten.

probably right about the headlights - maybe down the track.

finished it during the week. what do you all think?

i have to say i started with the steel wool - 7mins my ass!!!. the bulk came off reasonably quickly but getting into the corners etc was murder. the finish under whilst black was not great. taking it back was all good in the end and provided for a good base. plastic primer (2 coats), gloss black (2 coats).
