my A15 w/stock coil & 8MM wires has a hell of a spark, it thumps pretty good.

Maybe if your were running one of the high energy 3 prong plugs w/the MSD it might help in fuel burn efficiency....

nah hasnt got enough comp to "blow" the spark out, another reason is for different fuels in the engine, or as racetech said turbo charged engines, when cylinder pressure litterally blows the spark out and you get high end misfire.
so on a street or club race style a series its purely for the wank factor

What other fuels? E85? Meth? 102?

i need your opinion..my engine setup basically like this:

A14+lightened crankshaft+twin Solex40PHH+Lucas Sport Coil+ CR 10.5:1..everything else is totally standard..

So,should i go for MSD6AL or should i not?

In my opinion it will only be for the show and bragging rights.

A high output coil setup is only really good on a turbo or high compression motor.

Yes, it is compatible.
Yes, it is not worth it. Just get a Datsun electronic distributor & coil, which will give you optimum spark.

Hi guys,

Is MSD 6AL is compatible touse with Aseries engine?i'm planning to use it with my A14,but some of my friends said that it is not worth it to use MSD6AL in a non-modified engine?is it true?

Thanks in advance.
