Heres a link to a tool and example of how to remove chrome strips. Unless it is riveted on then get rivet remover just a double ended drill bit and drill them out gently. Put a layer of masking tape over the rivet and surrounding area it helps stop the drill bit slipping and doing further damage.

I have dinted and scrached chrome work around driverside rear window on a 120y 2door sedan. It also has rust hole under it that need repairing
1st QUESTION
Has anyone removed the chrome flashing and not replaced them.....or is it to ugly holes etc to leave them off.
2nd Question
What is the best way to remove without damaging them further?
