with looks badass as that it should have a motor bigger than a 1200! Looks very good. I like to leave my morries pretty standard looking just with different wheels and a more modern paint colour but still i do like yours

The 1200s go good in the morries, ive got one in my ute which isnt too far from being on the road and also a 1500 in a 4-door. Im in the process of rebuilding the 1500 at the moment.

I don't generally like morries, but I'll make an exception in your case! That looks awesome man! Even better that its been repowered with such a fantasic choice of engine too.

Cheers guys,

Ill get a side and rear picture up later. Unfortunately the car originally came from SA, thus no eng cert however the work that has been done to it is nice, the guy knew what he was doing. Now that she is all up and going again im going to start looking at getting it on the road, i have a feeling its going to be along and expensive exercise though.

prawno............just an FYI you can fit a B210/120Y Electronic distributor to the car...........no more points to adjust.

Very nice...............perhaps if Minors came that way from the factory they'd still be making them!!!

You guys hit the nail right on the head. Did exactly what sunny said and it is purring like a kitten now. I genuinely cannot believe how smooth its running, sounds like a new engine!

Ended up the gap was massive, about 4 times bigger than it should have been. Re-gapped to 18 thou, re-timed to 5 degrees, vacuum back on and mixture tweaked.

Thanks a heap, stoked to have it running so well again! I've attached a picture of the car the motor is in. Clearly the car is sporting credentials it doesn't fully deserve
