dont think you can just rotate the thermostat housing, pretty sure its an uneven bolt spacing

can get an exa thermostat housing though and it will point in the right direction, just have to go to nissan to get one

or i used a pulsar thermostat housing from one of the pulsars that had the holden engine in them, and then just redrilled it to suit. it just points straight out

heaps better to use an SR radiator as it will cool better as it has to actually flow across the radiator, cant just go straight down like the CA one. and also your radiator hoses wont get in the way of your cooler piping

Just rotate the thermostat housing on the motor.

You can use a straight pipe with rubber elbows on the end if you cant find a rubber one to suit.

like the bottom pipe in this pic, but you do it at the top hose instead.

its pipe from bunnings, imusing same and works a treat. cheap and good too

We have a CA18DET radiator and would prefer a SR one if you wanna swap ? Otherwise as you said was just going to run a pipe and some angled hoses across.

hey,

i have the ca18det with a 2r20det radiator all mounted up in my ute... just curious on who has ran the sr20det radiator as its a cross flow radiator and the top pipe has to run across to the other side... is it possible to rotate the thermostat housing? or should i just chase a ca radiator?
