gemini fronts - you can pick the early (I think TX from memory???) ones - the first gen gemini are single rate (my preference) or all later RTS models are progressive rate springs. They are a nice increase in spring rate (esp after a coil or two is cut off to get the ride height you want, i'm conservative there), and cost about $30 from a wrecker. I got mine from a bloke off the ozgemini.com website - just put a wanted add there, and hey presto.

Compare that to the ordeal I had ordering the 'right' springs from a local spring vendor, to find they were more than an inch too short to be captive, to take them back to hear 'that's not our problem, they are ok like that'. I then went with another option (after contacting King springs head office) - the rear springs off a hyundai excel or something - KHRL-115 . They could _probably_ be made to work for 90% of people out there, but I wanted a slightly different ride height, and didn't want to stuff about any further with them, (they would be captive however even with 1 coil off the 'heavy' end or 2 off the closer 'soft' end - they are progressive rate).

If anyone wants the khrl-115 springs, free to good home, still wrapped in shrink wrap. I'm in melbourne, would send interstate for cost of postage (probably $25-30) if sopmeone wanted to experiment with them, but honestly I'd still suggest the gemini springs are 'the go'.

I've heard that avenger wagon rear coils have a really good spring rate for 1200's.

I have fitted 240z springs on the front of mine. They work quite well.
