The TRD center is meant for the sprinter or T series so none that spring to mind. What about the awd version of the old Prairie? wonder what it had for a rear diff? that'd be quite uncommon config though

Based on the above they got the h190 - did any non nissans ever get h165 rear ends??

I always check my local places if they get vanettes in - I don't have a personal use for 4.8x diff gears, but know they are used by racers, so if I come across any I'll grab them to save them from being crushed and wasted. Are there any non nissan h165 recipients to look for?

Maybe that grotesque 4wd L300 van had a splipper in it, but it'd be a 6 stud axle. Doubt the local wreckers would have oner of them, though.

H190 (datsun) in USA came with at least three different splines, but they are easy to swap the side gears, so no worries.

Which Mitsus have an H190?

that's right, I read about those links through here years ago and always had this thought in the back of my mind as to whether or not the H190 on the mitsu would have the same splines as the nissan

H190 is made by Hitachi which is Nissan-related company.

Hitachi and Mitsubishi were the two prime parts suppliers to Nissan for the Datsun 1200.
