Yeah sorry the caliper brackets.. ok is there any way i can tell the difference between the 1200 coupe and 120y struts or are they the same ?

you need some of the brackets i make and 120y struts. the hubs also need machining about 2-3mm off of their diameter

1200 utes all had drums, only coupes got discs

wouldnt think the 79 ute came with discs.
my old ute was an 81 or 82 and it had drums all round.

im assuming you mean the caliper brackets and if so you can get them from kev rowley or they even pop up on ebay sometimes.

not sure that late utes had discs, could be coupe discs or 120y which is good cos you can use either for the s13 upgrade.

I am thinking of doing a silvia brake setup , just want to know how do i tell what model struts i am running & did 1979 1200 utes come with front disc brakes.

Also where can i get the brackets made up from ? or can you buy them off the shelf.
