I've found that the s13/14 calipers with the small rectangle hole in the top foul on the strut/mounting points etc, whereas the calipers that are solid metal fit no problem

you'd be better off starting with larger struts as VN commodore discs/hubs bolts straight on, same as XF falcon disc/hub im pretty sure

no not at all sure, just figured they should fit as they use the same mounts. but yeah i guess they probably would hit on other stuff first

i doubt you will find a bolt on 5 stud hub, commodore hubs would need different bearings or some sleeves made up to fit the 120y bearing shells
but i cant say i know of anything 5 stud that would have that small a stub axles

Are you sure Pigdog? I've found that many of the later and larger calipers foul on the caliper mounting eyes on the struts.

There are 5 stud options, but you really need access to parts and measuring tools to work out what you need.

A guy had a set of 120y struts on ebay recently with 5 stud conversion, wasnt keen to share the info, but I believe he used a commodore hub.

Just have to go to a wreckers and do alot of measuring.

To use an S14 hub, you'd need to use the whole strut, knuckle, find a compatible ball joint to suit the knuckle, then sort out adapting the tie rods and stuff to your existing gear.

I can get my hands on a pair of s14 complete hubs is there a way i can adapt these to my 120y struts ? I dont have the money for the maddat upgrade just yet.

Or has anyone put a 5 stud setup on a 120y strut before ?

Thanks.
