Hey Bob,who runs this? It sounds like a proper bun fight after reading the info sheet unfamilia posted,i mean is there any insurance or anything? And what about 80% potential of car or driver.....how long is a piece of string??
Is Mick Ronke still running the show...surely not.

Like Bob said, save your pennies and do a proper event.

NO NO NO NO NO NO
Don't do it.There are that many dickheads on the track it is just dangerous. The 80% thing is crap. They put 50 or 60 cars on the track and if it starts getting out of control they flood the track with more cars so nobody gets a clean run.
Much better of going to a sprint meeting.Does cost more $100 but you get a maximum of 16 cars on the track which are spaced (for a while anyway). The standard of driving is much better and there are people there that will give advice.
The first round is on this weekend.

Well its not a race day but you could treat it as a orientation day or test out some handling mods as you are limited to 80% outright power.

Winton Info

Its $30 to enter- have approx 5 or 6 sessions through out the whole day so thats over 1 hour track time easily as well as a few family friendly events.

So rain hail or shine its on (just means you have to go slower )

They say over 16years old as passengers only but they do a couple of laps behind the pace car and you can take the kids for a lap speed limited on those laps only.

Im in for a bit of cheap fun.

Any one else?
