I think it would make for a cleaner engine bay too.
So most of the improvements on these little A series is in the top end?

i think the main reason people go for the CA/SR convertion is cos they are already 2 or 3 times the power and will be heaps more reliable than a hotted up A series

but lately ive caught some sort of bug ,it seems to make me realy like my A14 and not like my CA ,its kinda wierd that my poxy worn out little 1400 seems more like more fun than a CA would be !!!

ive been converted !

The ute i just bought has a A14 and downdraft in it, ive only driven it once as the brakes locked up so its in the shop.

Anywho if it already has a A14 would you bother going to a A15????
Twin sidedrafs would be nice, it has extractors on it.

You dont need to spend that kind of money unless you want a race motor, which is not very nice to drive on the street.
Start with an A15, twin sidies and go from there, you will love it.

yea i totaly understand where you are coming from they sound sick, are light and would be the best option for a balanced car.
I just think that is massive cash, would some money be saved if you started with a A14 ha ha ha
Its also nice for the originality.
