ahhhh thats no good :( yea i noticed that the standard sr20 mounts are crap from when i pulled the motor out of the silvia, because the x member had bent so much the engine mounts had snapped clean, nothing holds them together hope this one all works out for you

i broke an engine mount in the wet, motor stuck at WOT and lost control, hit just pole just behind front wheel and moved the A-pillars over 15mm, shannons paid me out and i bought the wreck back (this happened in August 07). moral of story, don't use CA or SR mounts, when you break them you see that not much holds them together. this conversion i'm using cortina mounts and a boost controller to run high and low boost.

I bought another 1200 coupe shell just over 2years ago, and i've finally started doing the re-shell conversion from my old blue coupe. Last night i've finally removed the existing brackets off the crossmember. This weekend i'm going to remove the tunnel and get the existing one ready to weld in.
