the car is already light, any lighter you just need wings and you will fly.. remember the car is small and fragile,650 kg ute..

If you have a coupe throw out the back seat it weighs a fair bit.

I,m doing the same thing, Perspex (all side windows),sound deadener removed (Hint: dont use a heat gun like me!), lightened flywheel etc and Taiwanese panels. I'll gut the interior after licencing, not a good look at the pits!
Oh and alloy diff centre & lighter seats not kevlar though:(

Start with the basics really... Its been stated on these forums before that just acquire some dry ice and pour it on the sound deadener, should peel off. Seats of course can come out but depending on your state you may need to get it engineered for the rears removed or you cant altogether!

Replace front ones with carbon-kevlar units, if you wish to go to extremees then get some carbon fibre or FPR panels made, lightweight suspension components, titanium exhausts, stripped interior, lighter flywheel, using lexan/perspex for windows.

Thats going to extremes though
