I like the idea of 2 unevenly size inlet valves and one big exhaust with sparkplugs on each side much like the Mercedes and some other engines. I think 3 valves are plenty.
Great piece of work though those aro heads, If someone can afford to go that far perhaps rotary valves would be better if guaranteed the sealing wont be an issue.

You can always use 4 valves on the Chevs with pushrods using the ARO heads
If you got enough coin

Dundee 4 valves to 3 my kind of thing. I love the 3 valve heads especially if they are for pushrods engines! Pity chev dumped the progress of the variable 3 valve pushrod smallblock. Only Barry Grant has a strange looking 3 valver now.

it's all good fun though..

I could go the china option, itll cost about 1000aud but wont fit anything except the recycle bin :)
I suppose if you are going to go through this trouble of using 40kg of billet alloy then you might as well aim for the v8 option.
As for most cars here only worth 1k surely they are worth more than 4 year old Taxis :))

$8500 is roughly 80 hours of 3d design and 4/5 axis cnc programing and machining ($250.000.00 machine ) then you have the cost of the alloy billett (6061 is $9/$12 per kilo)and you start with say 40 kilos and machine off 30/35 kilos and that goes in the scrap bin. $8500 may sound like a lot of money but if you did this same project in australia and on a one off baisis you wouldn't get much change out of $20.000.00. Go the american option they allready have all the bugs sorted out .
