i fit sedan seats in my ute, had to push them in hard though against the rear tray wall.
They are angled a bit more reclined though. i prefered ka laser seats

I have sedan seats in my ute.

They are the Japan sedan seats. The aussie-built sedan seats look a bit bulkier.

doesn't surprise me, most things don't fit in ute cabins! Took me two days to get the GTi seats in.....

It's probably got something to do with the backing on the sedan seats - standard ute seats basically don't have any backing.
