You would be suprised... During the late 80's and early 90's Gibson Motorsport actually made the quickest circuit GTR's in the world and was requested personally by nimso to not build engines for Japanese teams as they werent gettign any business! :D

Even locally built FD's are build stronger and faster than what they do in japan.

Well in the case of Supras, LHD models could fit a bigger plenum with the space they had where the steering gear would be on RHD models

Even looked tame off the line, that's a car that knows how to put its power down to the ground.

Seems a bit weird to me, being the fastest R35 is in America......... Would have thought Japan would have a few crazy R35's with massive kw's............
