I was lucky enough to score my coupe which was apparently an auto from factory. Still required a fair amount of "massaging" tog et to fit an an R30 gearbox. But is the R30 gearbox physically bigger or smaller than a CA/SR gearbox?

cheers mate. using the 120y tunnel is that gonna give me more room than the original trans tunnel in the ute

use a 120y tunnel or stanza if you dont mind bashing it into shape. use the 120y one and save some $$$

i want to put a sr20 in my 1200 ute and have been told the trans tunnel has to be bigger for clearence i have looked at the transmission tunnels that MADDAT are selling that you just weld in. but thats means i have to remove the heater box. any ideas on what i can do to be able to keep the original heater box in?
