Im not liking the price differences, Id prefer a HD 200m clutch for 180aud
especially for a datsun 1000 which is much lighter and the owners foot has less lead in it :)

no D i mean CA clutch on L series flywheel, CA would kill an L series clutch in seconds(maybe minutes)
CA pressure plates are over a thousand kgs of clamping pressure. a good L series one might be half that. 4agze ones are only like 750kg
and all 4 cylinder clutches are 200mm, apart from 720 and z18et

nick, no you cant use an L16 clutch plate with CA pressure plate, the L16 is 200mm. need a 6 cylinder clutch plate

I've got ana Extreme clutch aswell with my CA18. It was recommended to me and although it has been in the car for a bit over a years worth of driving it's been through numerous 'spirited' stints and a theft and it's still perfect.

Good point tip there Nick,
You mean CA flywheel drilled to take L series pressure plate pattern right?
Is there a 200mm HD clutch? Im thinking of using a smaller gearbox modded
by Simon maybe a 60 series L series 1600 box

im using a second hand extreme HD 5 puck in mine, seemed to work just fine
L series slave will work fine on the CA box, used the same hydro clutch setup for my L series and CA

CA is the same size clutch plate an L series 6 cylinder, 225mm
pressure plates have different bolt patterns, you could redrill an L series flywheel to CA pressure plate pattern if you really wanted to. then you could get really good clutches...that are also really expensive

an excedy HD clutch for an L series is about $180, for a CA its like $500-700
