You are all going to hate me, but I found a buyer. Sorry fella's. I have in a way let myself down, but I hope to pick up another project somewhere along the line.
Thanks for all the support.

There's a free A12 in the Free Parts Australia thread. In Brisbane too I think.

Finish it.

mate i'll give you my a12 if you complete it! I'd hate to see someone give up on what was once their dream, purely because i was at the same stage as you where i was struggling with it. Well i still am haha. If you're going to lose money selling it, why not lose money finishing it?

Yeah it is a bit of a waste of time and money. And finding another replacement engine isn't that hard to come by, but having the ute finished in time for my 17th is the issue, and I have warmed to the idea of having a car with a/c and power windows. If it doesn't sell, well then I'll finish it. But if I can sell it, then I'd like to.

really, you are selling it as the engine is dead? A12s arent exactly hard to find and not that hard to swap either. seems like a bit of a waste to get this far and then give up over what is really a minor issue
