thanks guys. Now if I can only get the jetting set properly, its close but it seems like I should be able to get it better, trial & error it seems.

here's that PCV valve setup:

Cannon single side draft intake w/a Weber DCOE 40 - this manifold happened to have a port plugged off with a 1/8" fpt (fine pipe thread) plug & I got lucky at the oddball hardware store (Hardwicks on Roosevelt for the local boys)great store, have all kinds of unusual fasteners, fittings, etc...i always go there when I have a hard time finding anything.

Found a nylon 1/8" FPT x 3/8" hose fitting & screwed it in, attached the PCV which I scrounged at the local O'Reilly's, got a piece of 5/8" fuel vent line & plugged the two together. Had to run the 5/8" hose under hot water first before I could get the PCV valve to fit but it worked.

Seems to work fine.....

Since I'm looking at it I'll explain the accelerator cable - it is a hybrid - I made this out of a toyota cruise control cable I found at the pull a part. I first went looking for a cable with a round ball on the end to fit the Datsun acc. pedal , pretty hard to find.Found the Toyota cable w/a round ball so I took the original Datsun cable apart & kept the screw on bezel that attached to the firewall & epoxied the toyota cable sheath into it. The Toyota cable had that nifty end that worked well with the bracket I fabbed up so then I was able to slip the cable into the new cable housing & secure it to the bracket I'd made. More oddball engineering to make things work.

here it is on the bench, you can see the epoxy goober on the threaded fitting end if you look close...

I thought 3 balls in a set was normal, something wrong with that

Your right, the orange is on top of the doors, I painted it that way & re-made the door panels w/o the metal cap/top piece of the original door panels. I guess thats the style of the sedans & the utes I think. I just thought it'd be nice to have a touch of color in the car as well.

sexy as!

is that orange material on the top section of the door trims?

it gives the appearance more like like sedan trims that dont go all the way up the door,

Looks great! Get a pic of Pcv set up too if possible. Nice little touches like digital stereo and mirror don't detract from car much at all too.

I see you were served your balls on the back seat. You missing one

Yes. Let's get together soon. Got my header in the mail so that's my next project.
Have a couple more gauges to install on the top of my dash. Lean/Rich Ratio and Fuel Pressure gauge.
Fun stuff!
