i did it check out my build thread make sure you rust proof it as much as you can and if you do your tray lips aswell be sure to reinforce it with some metal. the torque of the motor will snap the weld.

Make sure you get in from behind and rust proof it properly... when you weld the front it will blast everything off the back and will rust like the titanic

sorry champ i seen the date next to your name and though was the post date of the thred haha, im in south australia. it wont be an issue to do the work i just wanna see some before to ensure i like it, if i havent herd any thing ill just go a head and cut all mine off and weld them up im also welding up my petrol flap and turning the spout around n fill from the inside the tray

Check my build thread, there are some good pics of my rain rails getting removed... As for the hook ridge once off it will need to be joined somehow again as it is two separate panel inner and outer! Good luck

My mate removed the rain sills on his old Gemini, he said yeah it was great for shows and such, but when it rained and he'd open the door he cop a drenching of water haha
