well if my 1200 ever hits the road (almost done w/cut & buff of the paint, then back together) I'll have that old car sense so for now I have to get that feel from my old Yamaha & Kawasaki. I've got a 05 Kawi ZRX, great bike but theres nothing like grabbing a handful of 35 year old 2 stroke throttle & taking off. Lots of fun but totally different then a modern 1200 cc bike.
Think those VW trucks are on this side of the pond?

I dunno. I get bored with every vehicle...but I think the Tesla would make a nice commuter. I live nine miles from work.
The silence is deafening. The only sound is the tire chirping.

Yep, VW Transporter here in Aus, we use a few of the 4WD ones as service vehicles.
DD, do you think you could live with a Tesla and not get bored? Fantastic car and all but to me just doesn't have the tactile feeling you get with an ICE vehicle (especially a Datsun A series!). I got the chance to absolutely thrash the crap out of one and while great fun, I just didn't feel it would give the long term enjoyment that I need to live with a vehicle (not that I could afford one even if I did want to buy one..).

I went down the Tesla Seattle grand opening.
It's tempting to get one, but I'm having too much fun with the vintage vehicles right now, no time to mess with a Tesla.

I tried searching Transporter but didn't know the Eurovan name, I figured you'd be the one answering this David.
Isn't the the rabbit truck that was here back in the early 80's, diesel as well. If I could find one of those above in a diesel I'd be pretty tempted to buy one.
Thanks,
E
BTW - when'd you get a Tesla ride? I'm jealous :) I did watch John Wayland smoke a few of them in his 1200, must be humiliating after dropping $100K+ to get killed by an old datsun.

That's a Eurovan.
It is called Transporter in Europe and is available with different bodies.
