If the 1000 went onto the 70s the pesky indicator position
would have been improved.
Leds have come a long way these days, they hide well in the
grilles with clear encased construction.

John dont waste your time with the front indicators below
the headlights they are ugly things and when I get the
chance they are history. Its much cleaner to get rid of
them it makes the front end smooth.

The solution is to weld up that area and use either escort
75-82 headlights with the parker light in them and just
rely on your side blinkers.
You can also drill your headlights if they are halogen and
put in the parker in them and silicon them up good as new.
Ive actually in the past had an esky rs2000 and the previous
owner put in some s/hand sealed units and kept the good ones
that I thought I was getting before I hand the balance.
All I did was use a good hacksaw and sliced them up and
siliconed in the halogen units and where perfect.

You can also use the 2 pak putty behind it.

If you do want front indicator then use small round ones or rectangular
ones in or just behind your grille next to the headlights.
It cleans them right up and avoids future issues.

Nice find Barney!

Another thought I had was to find a clear and an amber lens of the right height and just cut them to the right width and join them in the middle? For this youd want to find esactly the right height (42mm) so you could use the original chrome seats for them...both these turck lights are still just over at around 50mm...maybe you could get away with it, ill have to measure again.

I'm not sure about the colours of that clear one John, but was hoping it was both as it mentions amber leds and that its listed as a "combination". If so, that would be pretty cool imo
