This is just an idea that popped into my head now. How about when guys pull parts and/or modify them they start numbering them. Basically take a set of number punches or even a center punch and mark it with some kind of identification in an inconspicuous spot.

So if something does get stolen, you come post about it on here, give some description adn what kind of marking you made on it. That way if the part does end up in a fellow Datsun lover's hands, he can take the part and give the thief a smack on the head while he's at it.

That sux Andy...should get some of those sensor lights...cheap as these days and piss easy to install...I had mine wired up to extension leads so just use with regular power points.

Yeah Pretty sure there aren't any 1200 owners doing conversions here it was untouched still had the trailing arms on it. Its really just a pintara diff with 25 spline axles not skyline 28 spline so not as tough or big of a loss. We mainly wanted the complete brake setup to convert our H165 in wagon. Got 2 big dogs living in the shed so i pity any fool that decides to investigate more.
