Try Graham's Wreckers on Sammit St at Smithfield in Sydney, just off Long St. They had some 1200 utes there the last time I was there & maybe they'd have something. A mate has an LJ Torana NC car & they use Gemini axles in the rear end. That might be a source of axles for your diff, though I think they have a modify them somehow.

so my mate wants to use my ute for a formal on fri and i have a holden torana banjo diff with one snapped axle and one twisted and about to go. so basically i wanna get at least one good axle just so it's driveable on friday, it'll get driven like the axles are made of glass so if all else fails i'll just put em back in and hope for the best haha. also i'm not sure whether they're cut down or standard, how do i tell?
if anyone has a full diff to bolt into a datsun 1200 i'll try get the tailshaft modified to suit the new diff by fri as well.
im in canberra but will be in syd tomorrow if anyone up there has anything
any help would be greatly appreciated
cheers
jed
