Ep71 starlet inserts are about the same size as vw golf ones but a little easier to get donw this way (OZ/NZ) they are a little softer dampening though.
Also series 1 rx7 and n10(?) are are little shorter than stock. As well as kp60/61 starlets.

Ep71's are my pick if you want to be real low and they are available in both KYB and Monroes

you wont gain any travel unless yo ucut your strut tubes down to suit the shorter shock

thanks alot that will help heaps. did u make up the threaded tubes and springs etc ok did u buy them as a kit set thing?

hey im wanting to shorten my struts to give my 1200 more travell when it is lowerd. iv heard its been done b4 and woundering if anyone knows what car i can use the shocks out of that would slide straight into my strut but be abit shorter in length.
if that makes sence to anyone id appreciate your help.
