These look like a good idea.

Let me know how you go if you end up buying one.

you can get a muirhead one from engine protection in myaree that does water, temp oil pressure and a couple other things.
they are very robust and are used on earthmoving equip.
we have another brand one in our work ute that is good too.
anything goes over spec it just shuts the engine down. has an emergency bypass so you can drive the vehicle off the road ie: to safety

i have greddy gauges in my GTR that flash a red led if it goes over(or under)a set limit. you cant miss it. the oil press one responds fast enough to show up oil surge and saved me from a rod boot and block smash by telling me the oil was low (smashed ring lands)

haven't heard of that unit before but it looks pretty useful, nice to have a relay output also..

I recall seeing a few DIY type units out there as well, pretty cheap to.

Been considering one of these units for a while now.

After the CA getting hotter than I would have liked again today, I need to look at something as the temp gauge is to slow to respond to engine temp increase's and before you know it she's hot.

Anyone heard anything about these or used one? They have been around for few years now and the price has remained pretty constant
