Have you loosened it off at the firewall?
Its fiddly and in tight spots but its possible.

I'm trying to disconnect the clutch cable but not having much luck.

The book says there's a pin and c-clip, but I see no such clip. I've been trying to jam the lever back with something and disconnect it, but no luck yet.

This looks as if it should be easy.. any tips?
