some of the A12 air cleaner sit lower than the rest..

just swapped out the vanette G51 inlet + matching ex manifolds in favour of the H95 inlet and H99 ex manifolds but now the frypan air cleaner is too high to close the bonnet. application is an A15 in a 1979 B120 with standard carby.
Anyone been there and fixed this problem?
Seems like I have 4 Choices if I want to use the H95 inlet and std carby:

1 find a low profile air cleaner
2 modify the frypan air cleaner to make it lower
3 play with the engine mounts as there is about 25mm clearance between the x member and the sump
4 use the Vanette low profile air intake duct and use a remote air cleaner
