78 rwhp is very high for a non-racing engine. See Performance for some comparisons.

280 nm sounds impossible. A15 should be more like 100 to 125 nm. At the rear wheels, don't they divide out the gears when they quote it? At 3.9:1 ratio, divide by 3.9?

70 HP @ 5250 RPM = 70 lb ft (97nm) @ same RPM. 5250 RPM is where torque and HP curves match.

That would be at the wheels, remember torque is multiplied by the gearing, the wheels are turning slower than the engine, so the torque is higher.

i put my car on the dyno the other day for a power run.a15,cam,spings,gx size ports with twin 40s.nothing special really.
anyway it told me i have 78.5rwhp with 280nm??? of torque.

to me the torque figure dont sound right?seems to high,is it?
i think i remember boofheads worked a12 making over 200nm but.
