Well I have a 1200 already with a worked a12 and I keep blowing 4 speeds up so I need something stronger and it will take me time and a decent amount of money to put a celica 5 speed or something similar in it.

And as for the cops I dumped the back of my ute 5.5 inches with 12 inch stockies and 15s on the front with a loud worked motor with dual webers and never got pulled over once in 2 years. But I got a skyline a couple of weeks ago and got pulled over 2 nights in a row. And the skyline had an oil catch can with a breather on it and the cop was sure it was something for the non existent turbo??? I had to stand there and convince him for half an hour there was no turbo... Idiot

So I'm tryin to find something rwd non turbo or v8 that isn't another commodore or falcon and has some decent grunt. What else am I left with???

If you are on your P's, then to stay legal your car can't have any mods.

A rotary in a Datto would be considered a fairly serious mod by even the most stupid cop.
As you aren't licensed to drive such a car, your insurance would be immediately void, and if you should hurt anyone while driving, you'll be paying their medical bills for the rest of your life.

I might sound like a killjoy, but I'm sure your parents don't want you to screw up your life just for a few burnouts and traffic light races.

Buy a trailer, build a track car, and drag it around in a 6 cylinder falcodore.

What is a modified vehicle (engine performance modification)?

Rules for the modification of engines are available in the Vehicle Standards Information Sheet VSI 06. Any vehicle with engine performance modifications requiring an engineer’s certification for registration purposes is banned under the prohibited vehicle scheme.
