Full radius ram tubes are the go. But for maximum performance go bare, or at least with gauze.
I'm using unifilter socks they are okay, a damn sight better than the #OOPS#ty redline chrome rectangle ones.

I'd very much be interested in a higher resolution copy of this.

i use pipe cross filters, have used uni-filter in the past aswell. i like the pipecross filters better, can't really compare on performance, as the motor is different. but were recommended by motacarb who have some very quick and reliable carbied cars

foam doesn't flow quite as nicely as K&N though.. but if price is an issue, foam can't be beaten..

I run wire gauze on wet or damp days Piper X (Piper Cross) make some nice filtration sleeves and ITG make some very nice air box styles.

K&N are good, so are the big name oiled foam filters like Finer, ITG etc..
For a cheap option, my old gravel rally car used a Jag filter element in a custom alloy airbox, super cheap paper elements, just threw them out when dirty, even during events if needed..
Like Dundee said, you need to be able to fit your trumpets inside and have at least 30mm free past the end of the trumpets.

K&N for the win.. the longer the better, and if you can get full radius bell mouths inside, that is the way to go,

Hi I could use some advice, I building up a A15 for my 1970 coupe tarmac rally car (small amount of off road). What air cleaner setup would you recommend for twin 40mm dellorto carbies? None of the ones I've looked at are cheap so I'd like to make the right decision first up. Cheers
